I studied Latin for 8 years and have a dismal but passing knowlege of Classical Greek.

I have read parts of the Mahabarata, and should actually make a fuller pass at it because it actually figures significantly in the career of one of my creative heroes.

aaaaa! i tried latin as well (2 years, alas) and then had a go at new testament greek (pretty bad at it). and old english (good), and sanskrit (better):D
