Times Square Internet Cafe again, listening to Personality Crisis off of the Velvet GOldmine soundtrack on my discman. Tonight I need to come up with a real list of songs to put on my headshots CD, but so far I have (order to be determined):
Hot One -- Velvet Goldmine
Ballad of Maxwell Demon -- Velvet Goldmine
Can Can-Can -- Moulin Rouge (and may the photographer forgive me, because it's like the most grating song in the world, which is why I love it).
Diamonds Are a Girl's Best Friend -- Moulin Rouge
Whatever the "she is mine" song is, also from Moulin Rouge (I know the original version of the song is Chamma Chamma, but I don't know what the one on the CD is called).
Golden Years -- David Bowie
Young Americans -- David Bowie
Whatever -- Butthole Surfers (this is highly dependent on my ability to find my copy of the Romeo and Juliet soundtrack).
Son of Preacher Man -- Dusty Springfield (and this one depends on whether Megan owns it).
Emerge -- Fischerspooner
Yikes, that's a wacky list. And will probably get wackier. Gotta think of which Nick Cave stuff goes on there. Probably Red Right Hand, and some stuff off Murder Ballads? Hrmmm. Which reminds me -- PJ Harvey -- something off To Bring You My Love, I just don't know what yet.
Anyway, had my first dance rehearsal for A&G, and I felt fairly incompetent about it, but it will be fine. The physical work was a good thing. Am a little edgy about HousePlague tonight, but it's the day off that does it, and all will be well.
I know I haven't been updating on my One Scary Thing, thing every day, but with the exception of two days, I've been doing them, I just haven't wanted to talk about a lot of them.
