It's good at least through ep 3, which is as far as I've seen. I'd say it has the potential to either get really seriously freaking awesome or go the other way and turn into The AU OC. (Which, okay, I would still totally watch.)

They need to cut down on speechifying thought. And the crown of butterflies is an overkill.

They really haven't decided if they are tring to use modern language or higehtened language. I like the heightened language and they've largely cast people who can do it, but it's not consistent.

Seriously? I've just reread that Bible chapter, and I don't remember it. But mostly it was weird how they didn't just set on his head or whatever, but actually *formed a crown*. I keep thinking that butterflies are cool, but that was way creepy.
