Have not abandoned LJ for Twitter.
Have abandoned coherent thought for Patty return prep.
Should be writing in complete sentences again soon.

Acres of new people: my partner is an archaeologist and has been on a dig in Oman since January 2. She comes home tomorrow. While this is the third dig she's been on since we got together, this has been the longest and included stressors like her getting pneumonia and our bathroom ceiling collapsing. Also my bachelor lifestyle means I'm a slob and we had just gotten back into the city from visiting her family the day before, so we tore the house apart getting her ready to go, hence my desperate attempt to put it back together. That's what's up.
