Doing it, but also stripping my wish lists so no hapless friends and relatives can gift me and give Amazon business. Don't know if Amazon would notice if a bunch of wish lists went missing?
oh! you mean putting the words Amazon Rank (http://www.smartbitchestrashybooks.com/amazonrank/) as a link to click through to the page http://www.smartbitchestrashybooks.com/amazonrank/. Yes :D
Protest. Comment. Comment like the wind! Sooner or later it all becomes spam of cat macros, but even that is glorious, for it conveys our discontent through the medium of lulz.
I've tried several times and keep getting error messages. >:(
Well, here's what I've been trying to post...
I do not support Amazon.com's decision to de-rank LGBTQ materials. I am a librarian and I do collection development for a large regional library system, and I have bought many books from Amazon.com. I won't do business with companies that discriminate, so I'm going to stop shopping at Amazon.com and encourage my colleages and friends to do so as well.
Since it isn't anywhere near when people would buy for me, I was also considering Wishing for every single one of the scrubbed books. After all, top wishes are a ranking... :D

Those are the Board of Directors. May they suddenly find themselves very.... popular.
eeeenteresting. The page loads, and then bounces me out to a log in screen. Simple effective way to make sure you know who is saying what, and reading what.
It will only let me post with my 'real name' from my credit card which, due to a series of whacky events, is not in fact my 'real name.' I couldn't post.
Their latest "family friendly" entry seems like a more visible place than the 'terminator game' where it looks like most of the StrikeThrough comments are going.
The theory is problematic because it doesn't account for the fact that the tags that Amazon's action was based on are not user controlled. Additionally, this had been happening gradually over at least two months and it finally just hit the right people with the right voices and social networks.
Regardless, even if it was troll-based. Amazon still fucked up, by bowing to pressure, however fictive.
