To be fair, Obama signed the hate-crimes bill that made gay-bashing illegal and reinterpreted DOMA to make the Census count same-sex marriages. What's more important, words or actions? Yeah, I'd like him to express disappointment in the Maine vote, but I think he honestly believes he can't spend political capital on it until after the health care bill. But as the ENDA testimony shows, he's actually DOING the stuff we want.
