the dress

Thanks to [livejournal.com profile] chite there is finally a clear picture of me in the dress that was the subject of so much recent neurosisdiscussion.

Of course, there's total bra-strap action that I need to photoshop out, but hey, not bad, not bad.

Wow, you look great! :D I love that skirt length on you. I would never be able to pull it off, no matter how high my shoes were, because I am short and it would just make me look shorter. On you, however, it makes you look super tall and is very flattering! Clothes are so complicated yo. lol

And I want your shoes, or at least a close up picture of them from the side to see more details! I like the two tone colour.

I keep looking and seeing different details that I like. Your make-up is nicely done, with little (or no? can't tell) make-up around the eyes but then BAM lips! And your hair looks very sleek and awesome. :)

I love it all, you look very classy and glamourous. I hope you had a good time at the reunion.

It's a conspiracy against short people, I tell you! Conspiracy!

And I understand completely. I'm short and most dresses bag up around my waist because my torso is too short. Not attractive and it makes me look like a kid attempting to play dress up. And if the skirt is too long I'll accidentally tear up the slit in the back because I can't move more than 2 inches with one step. (Now I take to ripping up and re-sewing the slit in the back and making it go up higher.)

At least I'm not as short as my cousin; she's 4ft9in. She just folds everything (instead of making changes by cutting and sewing stuff) so she always looks sort of like a kid playing dress up.

And I still hold that it's a conspiracy against short people...
