Back in my mid-20s, I played an older character and used a temporary coloring to turn my (then long) hair gray. Everyone looked at me and said, "You're going to look AWESOME when you go gray!" And I do -- and I appear to be following in my father's footsteps with the gray, so I'm salt-and-pepper at 42, should be totally silver by 50, and entirely white-haired by 70.
