We mey on LJ writing Swordspoint fanfic; eventually started dating; a few weeks later she went to Cyprus for a dig (she's an archaeologist) my roommate decided to move to China and said I should ask Patty to move in since her lease expired right after she got back. I did, it was scary, she said yes. That was almost 4 years ago; right now she's doing a dig in India and will be home in March for the rest of 2011 essentially (barring a business or family trip here or there).
