Forgot to note that yesterday's scary thing was either a) the job interview that disturbed me, b) having Indian food for lunch (It's one of those foods I'm trying to learn, but it tends to thwart me), c) stage managing an opera for the first time or d) running around in a blizzard.

I haven't decided on today's yet, but I think it involves climbing that scaffolding at the show. This is something that's REALLY scary for me. Like way way way.

I also have to stop by the dramatists bookshop because my next scene is from Jesus Took the A Train and I need a copy.

Also in the realm of good and exciting, is there isn't a summer semester for my program at Atlantic, which means I'll be able to explore a different type of training for the summer, before I go back for my second semester. This is about perfect. I'm not sure what yet, but I've a few ideas.

Also, if anyone wants comps for the show for today or tomorrow, let me know.

Thanks!
Theater will break your heart. I suppose movies will too, but there was no succint and powerful way to open the post with a broader sentiment.

Our actor who plays Capulet has herniated a disk, and as such, we are recasting the role as he has to be out of the show by Thursday. Hell, even currently, he can't do the dances, and we're working around his incredibly valiant efforts to keep things going.

It's just so sad. For all of us. It made tonight wobble between being somber and being vaguely hysterical.

Meanwhile, still loving this SMing opera experience. Big big big wow.

Today's scary thing -- nothing specific, which is my bad. Dealing with the world as it came down I suppose.
