HP stuff

I remain further convinced that JKR is reading too much fanfiction.

Harry Potter and the Half-blood Prince???? Oh, that's possibly even funnier than Occulemency. I mean, I read the title, and immediately thought of all the contortions fandom is going to go into to make sure that's Draco in fics until we know more. (I'm sure a close runner up in random bad!fic will be having it as Snape's kid, followed by the ultimate bad!fic theory: some Mary Sue girl pretending to be a boy for some reason I can't figure out even as half-awake as I am).

All of that said, JKR has confirmed the individual in question is neither Harry, nor Voldemort, which I suppose doesn't rule out the return of Tom Riddle. Although I'm currently leaning towards it being either a) a new random character courtesy of Durmstrang, b) Dumbledore or some relation there of, c) some new nightmarish first year pain in the ass.

I have to go get ready to go to a casting in Brooklyn now. Color me underwhelmed.

Today I trekked out to Brooklyn for a casting that is next week. Color me stupid. At least I thought I was running late and called first instead of just showing up. That's not going to be wonderful when I do have to go next week. I never do stuff like that.

Anyway, I have to sit down tonight and make a list of all my auditions and when they are and what I need to prepare over the next couple of weeks. I'm responding to more stuff than ever, I'm getting called in more than ever, and I'm not getting cast more than ever. I suppose that's all actually okay. Mostly, I'm getting out there and doing a job I can feel good about, and as they say on West Wing, most stuff is done by the people who show up.
