Dec. 23rd, 2004 09:18 amWe are now within the ten day weather forcast zone. And, in fact, I leave NYC in one week. It seems as if it will be raining that day. Talk about no fun. And I still haven't really decided on how I intend to get to the airport.
The day I arrive in Sydney, the current forecast tells me it will get up to a pleasant 81 degrees. The sun won't set until after 8pm.
I've suddenly realized that in addition to having Jonathan Strange to finish on the plane, I want to be reading Cyteen. Which makes perfect sense, and yet strikes me as a perfectly terrible idea, poorly suited to being in an acting studio, and exceptionally suited to everything else about the trip. If nothing else the inclination is a reminder to remember the certitude.
I have to pick up my shoes from the shoemaker today.
