Regrettably, although I may well be able to find the time to see the film on Wednesday after rehearsal to do so would be deeply foolish with the type of week I have (in which I'm working 15 hour days every day, and then having to learn lines, prep for auditions and send out marketing stuff on top of that). This makes me sad, because I love the midnight spectacle and community of movies, and in most cases that's been all that really could recommend this trilogy. Of course, I'm still torn on whether the internal discipline is going to hold out... *sigh*
All of that said, it also means my ability to communicate with anyone will be severely limited. Best way to find me is paging my phone and telling me how late I can call, because other than quick breaks, I will not have time before 11pm most nights, before Sunday. Paging I can at least do on the sly during downtime on set.
This weekend I did finish the barebones of what I wanted/needed to do -- including minor website updates (major ones are still needed), some marketing stuff, and finishing the second play. I didn't get to revising either of them though, regrettably, nor was "sleep for a year", "creative genius" or "learning my lines" fully achieved.
Meanwhile, I love Doorknobs & Bodypaint, and they are kind to me, but they are the only publication I've ever written for that requires the release/contract on my story to be signed by a witness, and I always feel like a dumbass asking people.
Work is the prayer, or something.
