NYFF schedule is out. I really want to see the opening night film, which means getting their really early the day things go on sale ot the public and hoping. That said, it's way less of a small thing than when I was a kid, so it's unlikely that will happen. Will also try to get tickets to the new Neil Jorden, and I suppose, the new Lars von Trier, since I embarked on this whole Dogville thing I might as well continue on the journey. That said, I wish I could ignore von Trier, but I can't.

In more mainstream film news, I also saw the Brokeback Mountain and Aeon Flux trailers this morning, both of which I still have reservations about (Brokeback Mountain is feeling like Maurice with cowboys and Aeon Flux _looks_ amazing, but it's not really Aeon Flux, you know?) Meanwhile, the annoying SPEW plotline has been omitted from the 4th HP movie; unfortunately, from early reports, it seems like a lot of things I actually care about have (inevitably) been omitted as well.
