I am mad tired, so I can only imagine how Kali feels. I am tremendously glad her ordeal is over, and feel indulged from getting to spend lots of time with her yesterday.

We went to this great bar, that's totally turning into a locale in Decensus -- too bad the people and music sucked -- but the space....!!!! In a night of many random out of context statements, someone actually said to me at one point, "I totally thought she was giving you a blow job, but then I remembered you're a girl."

Yeah.

Now I go nap.
As many of you know I've been directing a short play that I wrote.

It will be performed on Wednesday, August 31 and Friday, September 2 at 8pm, at the TSI/Playtime series at 750 8th Avenue.

While the piece is personal, I would love to for people in the area to come, not because of that, but because it's the first play I wrote and the first thing I've directed outside of a classroom setting (and outside of Australia) and your support is important to me. Each night it performs with different plays (one night it's the last of four shorts, the other night, it opens for a longer piece).

Tickets and the line-up are available at http://www.theatermania.com/content/show.cfm/show/21738 and advance reservations are encouraged.

If you are attending, please be aware the theater is an unusual shape, and I've blocked the thing as best I can to accomodate everyone. The better view is probably from the left bank of seats, but I've noticed in rehearsals that sitting in the right bank of seats give you more compassion for the girl's version of events, and the left for the guy's.
