I am still dealing with media very cautiously as I know come tomorrow I won't be able to avoid it, since my day job involves lots of time with the news, all day, every day. I find I can do headlines, read political situation articles, ad even handle photos, but I can't read about the details of it at this point or I start freaking out. I had a really bad time of it yesterday for a few hours, and then Kali came over and I eventually settled down. HBO's Rome is really picking up steam and is totally worth watching. Last night's was very funny.

Today we did all sorts of manic shopping and roaming about, which was lovely. Wednesday I'm taking a long lunch from work so we can both buy fabric for our dresses for the assembly.

I imagine I'll be scarce around here over the next week, between my two jobs and the show and the sewing, and the day that I have to get up ass early for NYFF tickets, then go to two dance classes and then do my show. Luckily, when I get home, Kali will be there with painkillers and HBO.

Blah.
