Opening night was last night and now there's jsut that thing where we wait for reviews. I'm especially anxious this time, because there's a good chance my photo may wind up somewhere, including the Times.

For some unknown reason, I have one of the songs from velvet Goldmine, that isn't on the soundtrack stuck in my head. I watched the first half of it a few days ago when I was freaking out so badly, but it still seems odd that it surfaces now.

Yesterday was a brutal day both emotionalyl and physically. Kali and I did buy our fabric for our dresses though -- mine's a bright silver dupioni silk and all the ties and such will be in a fadded moss green. Her's is a bright deep jewle green, also dupioni with the ties being in silver. Yes, we're nerds. Now we just have to sew the damn things.

The thing I mentioned the other day -- the scene is actualy for a TV program that will air in India. So that's fun and funny.

Google is being disagreeable, which is annoying, as Kali and I are desperately trying to finish the next chapter of Decensus so we can get it posted by the end of the weekend. When you see it, you'll understand why it took so damn long to write.

Also, in trivial matters, now that we have 1 million environmental refugees roaming about, can we uncancel Carnivale?
This one really resonated with me, just because of the surreal quality of the reports assembled in it. It rings very true to the sorts of "nothing makes any sense" stories I heard from war reporters during my AP days.

Great show tonight, a reviewer from the Voice was there. So that's one more thing to wait on.

Had to turn down two days of work on a commercial because it conflicts with the show.

Got a call from Grant Wilfley to let me know the Taymor project needs me for a second day so I have another fitting tomorrow at noon.

I have an audition for an industrial at 9:15am tomorrow as well and a casting for Getty Images on Tuesday.

Meanwhile I am waiting on two acting checks, and, of course, the day job, but all seem likely to be in my hands by Monday.
