I still don't have the lab tests back. On the other hand, I've eaten some more avocado, and some very plain grilled chicken without disaster striking. Perhaps the amoebas have been conquered on their own. Who knows.

Yeah that jacket I posted about the other day? The Snape one? So emailing for a price quote for my size, so wedging it in the budget somewhere, even if far off in the future. As it would so be fabulous on me, even with a dress (how that becomes the justification is complex and absurd, but can I say I just love the way you all totally cheer me on at the confluence of my aesthetics and fictionality? I find i consistently amazing to be met with goodnaturedness on that score). So yeah. ha.

Something despicable happened to a dear friend of mine the other day. And I feel really angry and powerless and frustrated about it. It may sound like a bad television movie of the week, but never leave your drink unattended. It's certainly never been something I've been responsible about, because I've never felt the need to, but the fact is the world is full of unanticipatable evil. Certainly, I'm going to be more careful. That's all there.
