So last night we watched the rerun of SNL from a couple of weeks ago because we hadn't seen it.

That "Welcome to the Space Olympics" thing was like the funniest shit I've ever seen. I'm not even sure why -- perhaps because it was like a really bad VNV Nation (and I like VNV Nation) song. Perhaps because Patty and I kept trying to figure out the context.

Is it the theme song for the Space Olympics?
Is it about something that happened at a past Space Olympics?
Is it like one of those Ziggy Stardust things?

I dunno why, but we laughed ourselves stupid over it and we're still singing it to each other this morning.

Meanwhile, the Ikea furniture came several hours early, so we're going to go deal with that before I visit my father again and go do some work.
About 80% of what I know about how to speak and write in a manner that is stirring and/or convincing, I learned from Latin.
