Rapperswil

Have arrived in Rapperswil. Tiny "single" room in the hotel. It has a narrow bed, a little step to a little desk by a little high window and a bathroom. A tiny TV is on a tray bolted into the wall. It's small and contained, sparse and modern. The sort of space a cat would like; the sort of space I can picture Jack in the six months before he leaves Earth in CoE in. There's a painting on the wall and it hangs crooked. Try as I might, it won't fix, and it's going to drive me a bit mad.

I have about an hour before I have to be back at work. I will shower and change and probably get a snack at the Migros again, although I almost feel safe trying a cafe here. In the lobby of the hotel there is a little jazz club. All of this makes me hopeful I will back to productive writing tonight, when I do finally get back to this room.

On the other hand, less free-time here and less free Internet. I got a free thirty minute card at the desk. Not sure how many of those I can get, so my access will be more limited until I return to Zurich on Friday.

I think I will wear a dress tonight for something high-profile I am doing, but a suit for tomorrow when I am being filmed for something apparently.

Time to get ready, get fed, get on with things. I will take many pictures but probably won't be able to post them until back in Zurich.
