Me: "Now I'm going to have to stop griping about all the fucking porn in fandom that somehow involves cat ears, aren't I? Because it's like, justifiable, or something."
Patty (humoring me, while continuing to be horrified at website): "Mmmhmmmm."
Me: "Seriously, it's all over Glee fandom. Kurt's a half-human cat alien or something."
Patty: "There's a lot of that in fandom."
Me: "I mean, I get it, with how otherworldly the kid looks, but since I'm not into anime, THE CAT EAR SITUATION IS ALWAYS A LITTLE SURPRISING."
