I've stripes of zits across the areas of my face I had waxed yesterday, and I am displeased. I could describe it in more graphic detail, but you don't want that.

At work, waiting for more paychecks. Being moody in a wondering about my actual existence (in a does-anyone-see-me-at-all-but-me, sort of way, which certainly speaks to the compulsion of keeping an LJ) sort of way.

I'm blaming it and the incoherence on the wonders of menstruation.

HP is tonight. So psyched, but also wary, because it's going to produce some sort of mood, and considering my favourite characteri s Snape, that mood is probably "contempt for the species" and really, I'm about full up.

Antibiotic ointment looks greasy, feel disgusting, etc. - but will shorten the life span of said waxing zits by half, give you something else to be displeased about. Highly recommended.

Have they started to itch yet? I like that part best.

If you have any Calming Influence left over, it tends to work really well on waxing injuries.

do you think they reused wax from someone else or are you just having an allergic reaction to it?

I sometimes break out after a waxing, particularly if the area hasn't been waxed for a few weeks.

Resist the urge to rub/scratch/fiddle with the area. When I leave 'em alone, the pimples go away in 24 - 36 hours, which has me believeing that they're caused by skin irritation, rather than the pores getting blocked by wax (otherwise they'd be there forever).

The woman I go to for waxing has started using some wonderful moisturizer/skin soother, post-waxing, and that has helped reduced the breakout a lot. I'm due for another waxing in a week, I'll ask her about the stuff and if a person can get it retail...
