hehehehe I was all "BEST SHOW EVER" cause of the twists of this last episode. But no, if you DON'T like horror you won't like the show. I don't like horror movies (if you define horror movies as slashers, which I find boring) but I LOVE this kind of twist-and-turn creepyness. And I love the idea of taking all the purely American Horror stories (real life crimes plus American-style slashers) and using them this way.
BUT MOSTLY I dropped by to ask you WHERE IS THE GOOD Blain/Kurt romance first!time fic????? Cause I'm DYING to know what is going on in everyone's head canon.
Weirdly there's not a lot of it, at least not written in response to 3.05. There's lots of post-coital 3.05 stuff, but in terms of what the fuck they actually got up to, I think I've seen maybe three stories (one of which was quite good, but tracking it down against might be beyond my abilities).
If you're looking for stuff that's not closely tied to canon, I can give you recs all day. Also, the folks on one of the kurt_blaine.livejournal.com rec posts may be able to help.
see, there must be a lot out there, but as to GOOD stuff, which I trust you to read. But if you see something good, it would be great if you reced it.
And no, I'm not really into other people's canons right now since I'm up to my eyeballs in my own DW canon. But DAMN I couldn't help but watch that one scene and think "Ok, they must have just showered and redressed and now they're cuddling and thinking about doing it again" 'cause I just see the first time as either being in the dark and/or under covers. Either that or we're looking result of the first session of heavy petting (they didn't last long as they are both young horny teens) and are gearing up for the next experiment.
Since, as you pointed out, "sex" doesn't have to mean "penetration."

And I am so frustrated that I can't find/you didn't write your little bullet point lists of stuff as you went through each episode (or maybe you only started in season two or three?) because I would totally be reading along. I am also frustrated that it's difficult to search "RM" and "American Horror Story", but I'm sure you get that a lot.
I only really wrote about it in S3 (which I haven't finished yet) and only periodically although there is a thing on LfT about it that I am sort of proud of. I'm still struggling through S1 and S2 -- it's this war between my trouble with horror and my fascination with Ryan Murphy.
