So I've got to make myself human, figure out what I'm going to wear... cram lines, and then go do an audition (that I am at least very well prepared for) and then go to rehearsal.

I can tell I'm going to hate this day already.

I don't dislike the character I play in Celebrities, although she's an easy person to dislike. But it's not a pleasant sensation being her in the least.

Meanwhile, I think I _have_ to have this jacket: http://www.newport-news.com/assets/prod_images/prod_3/2f1881a_3.jpg and I know that despite the snickering I'm hearing from several corners you all agree. Speaking of which, the NYTimes has relieved me immensely by saying that girls dressing like boys of other eras will once again be in this fall. It's what I do best, and as a rule, I do prefer seeming hot and fashion forward as opposed to stark raving mad. Now where the fuck is my pocket watch?

heh: i'm expecting that jacket any day now. the only problem being, i ehter look super suave or like a total jackass in menswear-type clothing, period nonwithstanding. no middle ground. we'll see.


though, truthfully, i just bought it to shut up the parents. it never occurs to me to wear any kind of coat, and once it does, it's time for a winter long-flappy-thing. it will look lovely on a hanger in the closet. heh.

I've been coveting that jacket for months. You will look smashing in it, and I envy you. Between the lack of budget and my tendency to never leave the house, I've not been able to justify any fall clothes, which makes me very sad.

I have a brown velvet frock coat that I will never, never get rid of. It looks smashing with a narrow black vest (waistcoat, dammit) and a high-collared white shirt. I'm THISCLOSE to finding a real cravat cos I've got this marvelous pearl stickpin that belonged to my mother and it'd look faaaabulous.

I need kneeboots, goddammit. And a watch/fob doohickey. I'll draw the line at a silver-headed cane.

Anyway - go for it. Sounds fabulous.
