Wow, the Summerstage schedule could not be more lame this year. It's _all_ benefits. And there's no opera (there used to be opera once a week, and I was all psyched to go with Kat to that this year). At least there's Daniel Lanois as well as a dance performance I'm interested in. But wow, crankariffic.

Le feh.
I understand the benefits thing, the city being the way it is right now, but all the more reason for cheap entertainment as well as fundraising.

I am hopeful (but not overly) that there will be less lameness in Bryant and/or Prostpect Park. Although looking at the Bryant Park film schedule I am thus far not impressed, although I may try to make it to some of the free Broadway stuff they are doing.

Hi Sykii,

I don't think you know me; I've never been on your friends list. I've enjoyed your replies to Racheline's journal over the years.

I understand you had some sort of injury a few months ago. How are you doing?

I broke a bone in my foot a few months ago- it's healed quite nicely, and only aches when it's rainy out (like right now). Thanks for inquiring.
It's nice to quasi-meet you.

I'm glad to hear that the injury wasn't too serious. Several years ago I had a similar injury, and I was more a nuisance than anything.

Nice to quasi-meet you, too!
