Aug. 28th, 2004 08:05 amAt some point it must have made perfect sense to me to select a 10:15am audition time for an appointment in Inwood, on a day when the trains cannot possibly be running reliably because it is both a weekend and the convention weekend. Whatever the case, that point is no longer now, and I am awake, groggy and cranky as sin.
Watched disc four of HH last night (yes, kids, you get disc by disc updates, don't worry, it's almost over). Yes yes, more with the adorable and enchanting. Also grim. And the random French girl looks exactly like a girl I was in a play with. Was surprised that her and that whole little romance subplot didn't annoy me. I may be surly, but always with the romance. Anyway quite liked their handling on men's reactions to impossible choices. BLah blah blah.
Go cyclists! 5000 were out at the protest last night and we've only just begun. Today and tomorrow though are the real tests of this mess's ability to remain peaceful. http://www.nytimes.com/2004/08/28/politics/campaign/28protest.html?hp
I'm anticipating that today will be long and illogical.
