Among the many bizarre people I was educated with, was the daughter of David Merrick, Broadway producer, and thanks to that particular connection, our show was professionally costumed.
That is truly strange - clearly going to school with children of the entertainment elite has significant advantages over going to school with (as I did) the children of the political and military elite. Other than learning about both the NSA and caller-ID in 1976 from the overly boastful son of a spook (the NSA wasn't publicly acknowledged until the mid 80s) I have no similar memories of the exotic worlds of such parents influencing the schooling of their children. You really should consider writing a book.
