I am turning a few of my better photos (and I think I have a small handful of truly spectacurlar ones) from Sydney into postcards/greeting cards for my own use, via Cafe Press. Do you think there's any chance anyone else would be interested in such things (any of you all or people in general) and that I should set up the store properly, as a way to make a few extra bucks towards my Australia 2006 fund?

The main issue, is that mostly I'd put together greeting cards and post cards, but Cafe Press allows you to create only one product of each type, without getting a premium shop for $6.95/month, and I'm wondering if it's worth my trouble, or if I should just set up lots of free shops to order what I want to for myself.

The main images I'm considering doing things with are the Taronga Zoo tree photo, one of my Darlinghurst photos, one or two of the beach walk photos, and a shot of palm trees in the CBD. For that matter, of the photos I posted, is there anything that stands out to you all that I'm forgetting?

If you are just doing this for yourself, you might consider getting your stuff at Snapfish.com, they are slightly cheaper. I've used them for oodles of things and always gotten great quality rather quickly.

You can also use Cafepress' "Create and Buy" to make stuff for yourself without ever setting up a shop. :)
