more fanfic stuff
Almost didn't post this because it was too easy. So I'll also ask a question -- is there any good post-Book 6 (either in timeline, or stories taking place in the past of the characters but influenced by what we've learned in Book 6) yes?
Also has anyone yet written a DE initiation fic that seems plausible (by which I mean, not necessarily children's book appropriate, but not just a half-assed excuse for a gang bang either. Some mention of _magic_ would also be useful, and whatever happens has to have some sort of point (although random showy ritual can have a point too))? I seem to be having a attack of wanting to read some almost gen. fic, but for grownups, if that makes sense. Although recs for stuff involving the convoluted personal lives of those characters involved in spying activities are always welcome.

Severus Snape wasn’t sure how much more slowly and clearly he could speak; considering students though, he’d had all the practice in the matter that was available to a man. “Draco, shut up.”
The boy emitted another series of random accusatory spluttering noises.
“I am trying to keep you, and preferably myself, alive. And while I am long past expecting you to contribute meaningfully to your continued existence, your silence would be TREMENDOUSLY APPRECIATED!”
“Or what, you’ll kill me too?”
Snape paused, staring at the boy, and smiled slowly. “Surely…. your family’s been inspiration enough to develop more meaningful concerns.”
