Date: 2003-07-19 06:29 pm (UTC)I really like your voice. It sounds like the kind of voice I'd like to listen to for hours as the other half of a fun and/or intense conversation.

Date: 2003-07-19 09:23 pm (UTC)So if I say I really like your voice and think that it is attractive, do I sound like a fanboy?

Date: 2003-07-19 09:27 pm (UTC)I think I sound like a twelve year old with a cold, quite frankly.

Date: 2003-07-19 09:35 pm (UTC)No, hardly. I think your voice is classy & fun.
I can relate to not being completely comfortable with the sound of one's voice. I've never quite been thrilled with mine; I think it sounds slightly nasal if I'm not paying attention. Working as a radio DJ in college helped me, as I would record my shows and adjust my delivery.
Say, what's a hip woman-about-town such as you doing at home at 12:30 AM on Saturday night?

Date: 2003-07-19 09:43 pm (UTC)Also I've got theater stuff to do in the morning.
All the the truth of it is that Saturday night's in particular are generally about me, the computer and silly DVD viewing.
Re:
Date: 2003-07-19 09:52 pm (UTC)I can relate to a degree. People tire me sometimes, and I have work in the morning.
What silly DVD(s) do you have tonight?
I look forward to making a trip to New York sometime over the next year. Hopefully you'll be working in a play that I'll be able to see while there.

Date: 2003-07-20 06:45 am (UTC)So, now I've heard you as a chipmunk and it was quite amusing. I wish there was some way you could hear it. I'm still laughing.

Date: 2003-07-20 09:59 am (UTC)I'd love to hear something you've pre-composed read, just to get a better feel for how which words you emphasize and which just seem to trail. You know you want to...It'd be just like practicing monologues.
