I was looking for an answer. At one point does HDM start grabbing one? I read the first 20 pages in a bookshop and it's still not happening, but I feel like I'm looking too particularly for something, as opposed to letting it hit me. Also, really, Lord Asriel? Couldn't they have come up with a better name than that?

As to HP, I'm terribly invested in it, but not the story of the kids really, more the universe (which isn't that well constructed, but offers a lot of tantalizing hints) and the sagas of the adults, and of course Snape in particular. Book 6 was everything I'd been waiting for.
