rmFirst A&G rehearsal, and I have to say, I had one of those relevatory moments. Like, oh, opera! I get it, it's soothing and complex and it makes your brain go. Neat. It was like some much needed water.
I also had a non-creative job interview this morning, which I'm experiencing some stress about as I don't want to be in a situation where what I need to do to survive and further my aims winds up preventing me from doing the very same. But I was firm about my committments to these shows, and my need to be flexible and whatever, and we'll see what transpires about it or not. Mostly, I need to view whatever happens as an opportunity -- I know what I'm committed to in my heart, and I know what it takes to make that work -- and that's a lot of hard work, on many fronts. So, I'm feeling as solid about that as I can, whatever happens.
Oh, there's a blizzard outside by the way. April 4th, and I've got to run all over creation and we have a blizzard. I managed to get home between A&G and class. So I'll cook some quick lunch and then I'm off again.
Been revisting the long neglected Magician's Assistant project. And thinking... visual elements.. hrmm... I was going to do this as a short story, why? So, I might poke at that with sticks soon and see what happens.
