halloween

Well shit, it's Halloween

Do I go as Snape or random Regency fellow? This is called a distinct lack of planning. That I have the luxury of such is a bit bizarre.

I did a very very smart thing last night, which was turn up the heat in my room as high as I could. So while I'm sore this morning and woke up with pain in my legs a few times, I can actually move. This is a pleasant surprise. Exercise though, threatens to make me stupid. the thought of having to form words (much less sentences) makes me just want to shoo any incoming communication out of the way. I am TIRED.

Also, I do't write crossover fic (with thepossible exception of the Draco Malfoy/Wednesday Addams thing I will finish in some lifetime), but someone needs to write Lady Katherine/Lyra Belacqua. I'm just saying.

If you did Regency and stuck a sword on it, you could be Lady Katherine, I think. But I'm sure you'll make an excellent Snape. Or Alec: they dress kind of the same, don't they?

Yup. Honestly, if I had been all on this Swordspoint madness more than a couple of weeks ago, I may very well have done a related costume (I more or less have the wardrobe), Although I'd make a pretty sad swords(wo)man since I can barely walk from yesterday's fencing lesson.

I actually own the Snape-based coat that Kambriel (www.kambriel.com) makes, and my hair is sort of cut like that, so it's far, far from a stretch.
