rmI am insane.
I just spent a really annoying amount of time registering for a live auction via at an Italian auction house via Ebay so I could bid on a Regency-era fencing foil. But it's really beautiful and I want it as art.

So if I win, it's my holiday present to myself this year. I should know in a couple of days. Then of course, once it gets here (which should take forever for various legal reasons) I'll need to decide if I want to try to have various aspects of it restored. But that's thinking ahead and I really am trying not to do that these days.
