What I should be doing: writing my [livejournal.com profile] yuletide story.

What I am doing: Writing really smutty, plot-free fic for [livejournal.com profile] _riverside and googling fencing shoes.

What I really, really should be doing: sleeping

What I'm actually probably doing: Going to hell, in a small, wicker handbasket. Oh yes oh yes.

I approve of all things that lead to smutty, plot-free fic for [livejournal.com profile] _riverside.

And hey, think: when the Yuletide stories come out, we're sure to have a whole batch of Swordspoint fic!

Hopefully. I suppose people could just choose one of the ohter choices. Anyway, the fic in progress is all blowjobs and Alec learning that he likes being toppy -- well for like 10 minutes at a time anyway. Richard thinks it's funny. And you can imagine how much Alec likes being laughed at, albeit kindly.

Don't ruin my illusions! I still have a few more days to dream of lots of Swordspoint stories for me to read.

I approve of Alec being toppy, if only because it's written so rarely and I enjoy being contrary. I think you're right and it would be mostly in ten minutes spurts, but it would still be a fun ten minutes. And, of course, blowjobs are *always* good.

I think I'm going to have to write some plotless smut soon, too. I've been so caught up in things I had to write that I want to do something utterly self-indulgent now.

Well, also PotS gives us the impression that Alec's become very toppy in his time without Richard. So I got wondering, if it was Richard who poited out to Alec that this was lurking in him.

And yay, PWP!

Oh, yes. I like this plot.

By the way, would you like my brand-new obviously-repeated Swordspoint song? I can't really claim it as my own discovery, because I stumbled over someone else recommending the musician, but with lyrics like "You left a lovestain on my heart / And you left a bloodstain on the ground / But blood comes off easily", it fits too well not to enjoy. Jose Gonzalez - Lovestain.

Poor you! I couldn't deal; I find silence more distracting than any sound, so I have to play music constantly. Which means I go through insane amounts of it, but uh... at least I've built up a good collection?

Well, I do have a stereo. Which reveals my age if nothing else. Music on objects!

*laughs* Nah. I want a stereo, if just because it'll have better speakers than my computer. Also, then I might actually listen to the radio.

That's a habit I never developed, other than when I had to to know what songs were cool so kids at school wouldn't be mean to me.

Oh God, same here. I never knew the appropriate popular songs in school, so I get such a vicarious thrill out of being able to recommend and discuss music now.

I still don't know the popular songs in terms of top-40, but I'm familiar enough with the music blog darlings that I can feel like part of the crowd.

I really live in my own world of music, often discovering things late or getting into weird obsessions (Nordic music!!)

Yeah. But that's the funnest way to do it. I go through extreme obsessions: listening to one song on repeat for several days straight, and then never wanting to hear it again.
