I could lose hours of my life to playing with this: http://www.masquerademaskarts.com/memes/peculiartitle.php

As to the new HP title. Yes, it blows goats, but remember how much we all hated the Half-Blood Prince title too? Although this is arguably signficantly worse and less funny. Honestly though, I think we've all always thought all the titles were lame with the possible exception of The Prisoner of Azkaban, because that was all mysterious and shit.

My only gripe with HP titles is the American verion of the very first one. England and Canada got "Philosopher's Stone" for the book and the movie, but Americans are apparently too simple-minded for the concept. And the truth is I don't think I'm angry so much at the condescension (though I did learn what a Philosopher's Stone was at a young age) as to the fact that it was probably the right thing to do.

Very Lord Byron the Innocent of Old Throcking in the Hole
Her Most Noble Lady Byron the Undefeated of Giggleswick on the Naze

It's a little unfair for me because my name is Byron, so I am 10% the way there.

Can I just second everything you said? My only addition is that I wish they'd kept the title, because I don't think it would have been off-putting, and maybe kids would have been interested enough to look it up. *sigh* Who am I kidding.

My reaction to the title was to mistake it for a fan band name. But it'd be a great band name. Not too bad as a title either.

COuld be worse, you could have spent the better part of your day off fighting with the web site to get to the secret door to get to the puzzle that lets you see the title.

Grumblecakes.
