why I am not doing acting work this week

I'm simply not willing to do background on summer exteriors tomorrow night. The high during the day is supposed to be 22. ARE YOU FUCKING HIGH?

It's like reason #90459035 most actors would rather be whores.

Fabulous. I worked on a Christmas documentary for Discovery in July--during the dangerous heat wave. Even better was that this was set during the 1860's, so the actors were wearing wool and lots of layers. My job as H/M was really to blot sweat and give talent straws to drink water between breaks. I never know how you actors do it.

Yeah, I don't do background work when it's this cold. Because the pay is not worth the sick. And summer??? A 20 dollar bump isn't nearly enough.
