If retrocausality is real, it might even explain why life exists in the universe -- exactly why the universe is so "finely tuned" for human habitation.
I'm definitely rooting for retrocausality, both because the idea of a universe where the future is determined is depressing and because one where both past and future can be changed is fascinating in all manner of ways.
