I'm... disappointed. From your otherkin comment, I thought for certain this was going to be an anthro cat who was sexually harassed on the internets by Bilbo and then grew wings as a self-defense mechanism to flee the hobbit sex.

Well, yes. It's possible that I've never been more grateful that a fandom failed to capture my interests than with that one.
