kalichan and I, as we do, went out for dinner tonight for Lucius' birthday. ANYWAY, we're walking around Union Square, because I need to go use the bathroom in the Starbucks, and this homeless woman gets right up in my space, very, very close and says very very loudly, "What if I snapped your neck, huh? I can, I can break your neck, then you wouldn't be enjoying your summer very much, would you?"

I swerve out of teh way, which is when she starts yelling at Kali and threatens to poison her

If you've read Descensus. Hell, if you've read Harry Potter, you _know_ how utterly fucking WEIRD this was.

Oh my God.

I'm so glad you two are okay, and that neither of you were hurt or provoked to violence. I'm not sure I could've held my temper under those circumstances.

And I am now concerned for my friend who is an NYPD cop; if this is a sample of the street weirdness, she's having a hell of a weekend. (Being a weirdness magnet on the police force is, well, one heck of a level of crazy).

That's really damn bizarre and naturally sets off all sorts of impossible scenarios in the imagination of a fantasy fiction fan, which you should probably resist the urge to imagine!
