They used to be a couple, but now they own a business and an apartment together. One of the nicest acknowledgements I've seen in media of "hey, life is complicated, and that's okay."

No problem. My writing partner is also my ex and I think people are just too afraid of me to ask questions about that, but I was really pleased to see this as well.
