ditto. I mean this is exactly the sort of shit going on in the last two novels I reviewed. I mean, the issue isn't even, to me, seperation of church and state -- it's what they're preparing for!

Precisely. The US government is currently actively planning for martial law (and worse, for martial law that people object to). That creeps me out quite beyond words.
