I'm going fencing today eventhough I probably shouldn't. I doubt I'll make it Wednesday too, but I got to get this in and can then return to normal life next week. Maybe even three times a week, I don't know.
I really need to find my damn passport so I can go to Ken's going away party. I loathe having to talk my way into bars without ID. I mean, I'm almost thirty-fucking-five.
I've written all of the questions for two of the three chapters that are due Thursday. Writing the questions is the hardest and most time-consuming part. I also stumbled upon an error in a question from a previous chapter I will need to fix. I also have to write the brief intros to each chapter and the intro to the book as a whole, but this is the home stretch of the really bad stuff.
Okay, Amazon rankings are sort of the devil and I need to stop looking at them.
My Slytherin socks shrunk in the wash.
It is Fall. Patty is miserable with the cold already. I, on the other hand, loathe the cold, but really do like being able to tuck my pants into boots again. It is my favourite fasion affectation on me.
Someone I knew really, really peripherally was murdered a couple of weeks ago. And I always tried to convince my mother than hanging out in clubs wouldn't ruin my life. I mean, it didn't, but you know....
Now that I've spent the morning doing work on two different gigs, it's time to go to the office and do work on a third.
Tarnished writes awesome Snape/Harry. I find it moving in a way that I'll sound like an asshole if I talk about, so if that shit floats your boat, check out her stuff.

Date: 2007-09-17 06:57 pm (UTC)I know that my Mom had to get proof of age ID (when you are 83? who knew?) so she could fly out to see me.

Date: 2007-09-17 08:00 pm (UTC)Somewhere in a box there is a printout of the Amazon page for a book I wrote on the day its Amazon ranking was 512. Because really. 512! I wish you a lower number...not to mention one that translates into better royalties.
