i have a muggle question: what is a shipper? i ran into that term last night searching for doctor who icons and now here it is again.

It's short for relationshipper. You "ship" whatever pairing (or threesome/moresome) you're into.

Like I'm much more a Lucius/Severus shipper or Snape/Harry than I am Snape/lily, even if that's cannon.
