The ball was good, even if things kept getting surreal in a Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil way -- from the crepy awesome rundown 1930s hotel we stayed in to the steakknife in the back of the cab and the ridiculous Queen that wanted to talk to Edie about his additiction issues.

I also dropped a table on my foot, so I don't think there's going to be fencing this week.

In other news, I was some of the bad crazy all weekend, and I learned a few things from it -- I need to just be the organizaer less often. I get really stressed out when everything isn't perfect, and even when that everything is usually my fault I get mad at other people. I also tend to overcommitt everyone's schedule and want to do every second of everything.

Also, I do this thing where I don't get pissed off when it's at least relevant if not reasonable. So when I do finally get pissed off it's so long past the stage of relevance that it's just evil as opposed to ornery.

I coped very badly this wekend, and I am, to be frank, unsure of the reasons why, other than I'm just nuts. It was useful in the sense that it proved certain things to me, but I remain both embarassed and worried about it, as I was hurtful to people in the process.

But I think my guilt, which I was teased about considerably is getting boring to all, so that's that for this forum.

And yes, there will be adorable pictures soon.

um...well...there could be a little bit of stress related to 1) you just wrote a book in record time, 2) your mom just found out she has cancer and had surgery, 3) you just moved in with your gf. all big, weighty things. you were bound to blow eventually. ANYONE would. honest.

It might be something in the air. I had a bad crazy night last night , it was "teh ugly". It started out as a tpical night of drinking and hanging out with friends, and it ended with someone bleeding on me while they tried to explain their world through a haze of whatever the hell they were on, and ended with me getting weird phone calls and yelling alot.

I want a do-over.
