- I am trying to stave off a cold.

- Yes, this is probably Patty's cold that I felt sure I didn't get. We had a quiet at-home Halloween last night as she's still recovering. I finally got to see The Nightmare Before Christmas and kept howling about "why isn't this on Broadway?" and "Someone needs to write me Jack/Snape crossover fic now!" You have your challenges people; get on it!

- I am trying not to think about this JKR/book thing.

- Key to that? Not getting into discussions about copyright law with a bunch of 13-year-olds. I didn't. But I thought about it. Can we go back to arguing about whether Dumbledore is a pedophile now? Pleeeease. *rolls eyes*

- Did I tell you my I Can Eat It products are here? Did I tell you they are amazing? And, and! They also have baguettes and brioches and so forth now. I'm going to try to organize the kitchen enough this weekend to justify a massive order from these people.

- I cut at my foot some more. You wanted to know that, right? Now it's much better. Really gross, but now I'm only dealing with pain if I hit the bruised bone a certain way and there's nothing I can do about that.

- Yay, Mercury retrograde is over! But not before Patty and I confused each other this morning and my credit card got rejected for no discernable reason.

- Apparently the company that owns the company that owns our building is getting hit with a huge class action suit. I'm bemused, because they are fucktards who deserve it on principle.

- I am not one for photo holiday cards. They are completely outside of my understanding of the world, however, there is a part of me that feels Patty and I should be greivously cute and gay for the holiday season. I mean, we're getting a tree! I mean, made of plastic, from Target, but I've never had a tree before.

- If I could find a way to attach Little Kitty to the ceiling for an hour she'd eat all the flies up there like a frog and that would be awesome. Unfortunately, there is gravity.

- Tonight: Les Miserables!

- Tomorrow: NaNoWriMo, like for realz. Luckily I'm coming in with something that needs a new first scene and a major edit for the first week.

I meant to tell you that I'm going to grow my own GF sourdough starter. I found a recipe and will start playing with that sometime soon. I figure between 5 turtles, 4 cats and 1 dog it ought to taste 'farm fresh'.

Have you ordered from this company yet? They are totally amazing, although much better heated up.

I was waiting to see what you would say about them. The pic I saw on amazon didn't look entirely appetizing. I may give them a go if none of the gf bakeries here have their own. The Wedge Co-op makes GF eclairs you cannot even believe. S ate almost the whole thing without giving me a nibble.

The "I Can Eat It" stuff -- do they have a website? I can do gluten, but I sometimes get customers who are looking for non-gluten. It'd be nice if I could point them somewhere.

Have fun at Les Miz! It's one of the shows I'd love to see.

They taste exactly right and heated the texture is near perfect. Cold they are a bit commercial in texture, but they really are excellent and you certianly can't tell they are GF. The packaging is actually great, as it keeps them shelf stable for ages, and you just pop it in the freezer once it's opened.

www.icaneatit.com and they sell on Amazon. Right now to order from them directly you need to call, but that should be changing soon they tell me.

And I saw Les Miz when it was first on Broadway, so I'm looking forward to seeing it again.

Hmm, I don't know. I think so, but look like the site is down. It's been running super duper slow lately.

awesome...that's great! I still cannot believe there isn't some decent in NYC that would make them for the same price/margin.

ugh, even *I* had the dumbledore pedophile discussion with someone, and i've never even read the damn books. "i'm fine with dumbledore being gay as long as he's not molesting any of the little wizards." aarrrrrrrrrggggghhhhh *headdesk*

LOL. Yeah, much more titillating discussion. Just as long as he wasn't physically abusing Snape into submission....... ;)

Being sick on Halloween is just so wrong.

I'd similarly like to be able to put my cats on the ceiling to get the flies, but haven't worked out the details.

re: Jack/Snape -- no idea, but then I come from a fandom with Squid/Castle as a pairing. It's for someone else to work out. I think I just want musical horror.

I think you and Patty should definitely do the photo card thing. The two of you are just so damned cute together that nothing less will do. :c)
