I didn't know you watch South Park. the las 3 shows were pretty hysterical wasn't it? You liked Kyle? I thought Butters was pretty good. I especially liked the idea that Christ was imaginary. Lol.

I liked Kyle's speecha bout how Harry Potter and Star Wars and Santa Claus et al matter. I wanted to get up and cheer.

I was also terribly excited about that speech.

I've been referencing these episodes for the last couple of weeks as prime examples of Platonic/Descartian divides in conceptualizing thought vs. reality. My students, bless them, were mainly confused and slightly disturbed by the idea that their English professor knows what South Park is.

Kim and I watched the entire trilogy last night. We have new favorite episodes now. Although I'm Catholic and don't believe Jesus is imaginary, I still loved the point the episodes made about how imaginary things matter even more than reality (and I wasn't offended ;) I'm pretty hard to piss off when it comes to my religion, and the SP guys haven't ever managed).
