There is a lot percolating -- from my latest LJ Idol piece to deeper thoughts on Philcon and what it's like to get Google Alerts for my name from unlikely places.

But! The odds of my getting to any of it until we're in this holiday weekend is very low. I've a ton of work to do and P leaves for the airport at an appalling hour tomorrow.

I'm loving your LJ Idol pieces. I imagine them all bound together in a sort of Spalding Gray monologue collection, except you are the boy Truman Capote version.

My goal for the snow season is to attend a barn dance and join Elegant Arts. I want to get the boy to convert from CW reenacting to G or R. Luckily, he is amenable. I'm traveling to do make-up for Monday Night Football, and I'm afraid I'll miss the barn dance yet again.

:) and :( ! You'll get to the Barn dance eventually. We're a bit out of period for Regency this month as we're doing 1830s and then Baroque in the second class (yay, I get two Baroque classes this month), but we're back to our more regular schedule starting in January.
