Okay, Leaky blurb in which it mentions Alan Rickman joking that there's a porno video version of HP floating around the net.

Considering the World of Warcraft porn out there, who thinks that this wasn't a joke, but that there is some scary fan-made video-porn floating around the Internet (I think tsarina and kalichan and I have totally talked about starting porn businesses like this more than once) featuring cosplayers, that at minimum he has the good sense to guess at the existence of, because, god help him, he's met the fans (as tsarina, ladypeculiar and myself can attest).

Leaky's optimism at the limits of fan depravity is really misguided at times.

And wow, I just realized like half of you haven't heard the scary SCARY HP fans vs. Alan Rickman story. Ha!

Seriously. There are porn sendups of things that DON'T have a vast slash-writing, costume-wearing fanbase. I'd be surprised if there weren't several, let alone one.

I bet there was even home-made fan porn back in the seventies with fangirls dressed up as Kirk and Spock.

Where I work we have an occasional Star Wars night, where the girls dress up in costumes, watch Star Wars and recreate the lightsabre fights, except with more nudity.

Think its an editorial policy to make the website more child friendly? A little ix-nay on the lash-say so they don't loose under 13 eyeballs (and ad revenue) if their parents discover... I haven't looked but I can imagine what's out there in terms of audio-visual entertainment.

Sometimes when I see a new release, I try to predict what the name of the porno version will be. I was correct about Saving Private Ryan ( Shaving Ryans Privates ) and Edward Scissorhands ( Edward Penishands ).

I think that part of the reason things like this happen is because of the general lack of imagination that goes into the production of porn. Once you get past the basics, it's not all that interesting. I'd be more inclined to read/watch something based on HP than some Ken & Barbie clones pretending to be football player / flight attendant.
