ah..so THAT's why a russian company bought LJ..so they could censor their russian users. you just don't HEAR of russian companies acquiring things- i always sort of think of them as a great bear running around in a failing economy..woo. this is going to be..i don't know what..i'm, for once, without words.

Oh my...this is really a scary article. My line of defense is that

1) I believe my private entries, are truly private.
2) My journal is so boring to Big Brother that he wouldn't care to read anyhow.

Now I think #2 might be more of a valid belief and defense than #1.

I'm have some hopes for them. Mostly because I'm a bit (okay, *a lot*) gullible on the inside.

I'm hoping their censorship of Russian users won't spread to the US (where I live).
